Fabio Coentrao set for Real move

The Portuguese international had a good 2010 World Cup

Real Madrid look set to make their third move on the summer window with Fabio Coentrao in negotiations with the Spanish giants over a possible £27million move.

After adding the Turkish duo in Nuri Sahin and Hamit Altintop from Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich respectively, the move for the Portuguese full back will take Madrid's Summer spending to over 50million euros.

Coentrao was a reported target for Chelsea and their new coach Andre Villas Boas however he now looks set to join the Copa del Ray holders.

After impressing at both club and international level in 2010, winning the double with Benfica, Coentrao's possible avaliability alerted many of Europes finest clubs with Inter Milan believed to have made a bid for the full back after Portugals unsuccesful World Cup.

The probable addition means that Real Madrid means that Jose Mourinho's back four could consist of three Portuguese internationals.
