PSG set for Pastore coup, after club confirm duo signing.

Pastore isn't expected to wear the pink of Palermo for much longer

Paris Saint Germain look set to confirm their biggest signing since their recent Qatari takeover with the signature of Javier Pastore.

The much sought after Palermo midfielder looks set to join the French club despite serious interest from Chelsea. The Argentine midfielder has been linked with a move away from the club from a long period of time, however was expected to join a European powerhouse with Real Madrid reportedly keen on the services of Pastore. The signing will be a magnificent coup for the club, if the expected deal does materialise.

The news broke of Pastore's immanent arrival on the day the club confirmed the duo signing of former Liverpool midfielder, Mohamed Sissoko and Salvatore Sirigu, ironically Pastore's club team-mate at Palermo.

The French perennial underachievers have been very active in the current transfer market with no less then seven signings, with Kevin Gameiro from Lorient their most expensive in the region of 11million euros. The expected Pastore deal however will certainly exceed the Gameiro fee.
